Why symptoms vary so much after highway crashes
Speed, the direction of impact, where you were sitting and whether you saw it coming all change how forces move through the neck and back. Two people in the same car can feel very different the next morning. That is why we take a detailed history before forming any opinion.
Fitting an exam around a Dallas workday
A planned visit is easier to fit into a Dallas workday than an open-ended one. We are open Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM, so the first slot of the morning or a late-afternoon slot before 5 often works around work. Same-day exams are offered when the schedule allows. If your employer needs a work-status note from the visit, ask at check-in; we document what the exam shows.
What we look for
- Neck strain from sudden acceleration or braking
- Mid-back and rib discomfort along the seat-belt line
- Lower back pain from bracing on the brake pedal
- Headaches that need a medical evaluation first
- Changes in sensation or strength that need a referral
Records for your insurer, employer or attorney
Every visit is documented. With your signed authorization we release records to the people you name, such as your insurer or attorney. We do not share anything without that authorization. See records requests.
Getting here from North Dallas
From the Preston Rd corridor, many patients take Campbell Rd east into Richardson and turn onto Collins Blvd, about 6 miles by map estimate. From Lake Highlands, routes via Audelia Rd or Skillman St north run about 7 miles. Typical drive time: about 15–20 minutes in light traffic. Parking is available in the building lot at no charge. Suite 124 is on the first floor; follow lobby signage to Howill..
Questions we hear from North Dallas patients
Do you have a Dallas office?
No. North Dallas patients are seen at our Richardson clinic, just north of Dallas. Our second clinic is in Arlington.
I went to urgent care after a crash on LBJ. Should I still see a chiropractor?
That is up to you and your providers. Bring your urgent care paperwork, and we will review it as part of your history. If anything needs a different provider, we will tell you.
What hours is the clinic open?
We are open Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Book online to see open times.
Can someone else request my records?
Only with your signed authorization naming them.
